How do I create and manage collections?

Collections are how your store is organised. A customer browsing your shop sees collections first, so they do real work.

Creating one

1. Go to your dashboard home and scroll down.
2. Tap Create collection.
3. Name it and save.
4. Tap Add product inside the collection to start filling it.

Naming them well

Name a collection for what a customer is looking for, not for how you think about your kitchen.

Good: Theme cakes. Bento cakes. Jar cakes. Onam sweets. Pickles.

Less good: New items. Specials. Category 1.

If you make two quite different things, like cakes and savoury snacks, give each its own collection rather than mixing them.

Renaming

Tap the collection name on dashboard home, change it, and tap the tick to save.

Removing a product from a collection

Tap the three dot button on the product and select Remove from collection.

A practical rule

An empty collection looks worse than no collection. If you create one, put at least two or three products in it before you share your store.
