Cakesify Seller help

How do cancellations work?

If you reject an order, it is cancelled and the applicable refund goes to the customer automatically. They are notified without you having to do anything.

Other cancellation or refund requests are handled according to our refund and cancellation policy, case by case.

What the customer sees

The order shows as cancelled, and the refund is processed back to the payment method they used. Refunds to a bank account typically take five to seven working days to appear, which is the bank's timeline rather than ours.

If you have already accepted

Once accepted, the expectation is that you fulfil it. If something unavoidable happens, contact support@cakesify.com straight away. Depending on the circumstances and how much time is left, the order may be cancelled and refunded, or routed to another seller.

Repeated cancellations after accepting affect your store performance, and they affect how customers feel about ordering from you again.

A rejected order cannot be revived

Once rejected, it is cancelled and refunded. You cannot change your mind and fulfil it afterwards. If you rejected by accident, contact us immediately and ask the customer to place a fresh order.

What happens to your payout

Nothing, for a cancelled order. There is no payout on an order that was never fulfilled. For refunds after an order was already settled, see What happens to my payout if a customer gets a refund?.
