How do I accept or reject an order?

Log in to your dashboard, go to Orders, open the order, and tap Accept or Reject.

Before you accept

Read the order properly. The flavour, the size, the date, the delivery location and anything the customer has written. Accept it only if you can make exactly that, by then.

Accepting is a promise. Everything after it is you keeping it.

If you cannot do it

Reject it, and do it quickly. A customer who gets a rejection within the hour can order elsewhere and still have their cake. A customer who waits a day has lost the day.

Rejecting an order cancels it and triggers a refund to the customer automatically. They are notified. See How do cancellations work?

Do not leave it sitting

Decide within 24 hours. An order left unanswered may expire or be cancelled so the customer is not left waiting indefinitely, and missed orders affect how your store performs.

If you are too busy to take orders at all, pause your store rather than rejecting them one by one.

If you accepted by mistake

Contact support@cakesify.com immediately. Depending on timing we may be able to cancel and refund, or route it to another seller. Do not sit on it.
