How do I complete my seller profile?

Five things, and your store cannot go live without them.

Before you start

Have your bank details and your dispatch address to hand.

Steps

  1. Store details and description. Your store name, what you make, and a line or two about you. This is the first thing a customer reads, so write it like you are telling a neighbour, not filling a form.
  2. Verify your phone number. You will get an OTP. This is the number order alerts go to.
  3. Add your dispatch location. The address you actually hand orders over from. Your delivery area is calculated from this point, so a wrong pin here means wrong delivery charges for everyone.
  4. Set up payouts. Account number, IFSC, account name. Check it character by character.
  5. Set your delivery and pickup settings. How far you deliver and what you charge. See Setting your delivery area and charges.

Where your store lives

Your store link is built from your store title at this point. See What is my store link, and can I change it?

How to know it worked

Each section shows as complete on your dashboard home. When all five are done, the setup checklist clears and you can move on to adding products.

Then what

How do I get my store ready to share? is the last stretch before your first order.

If it doesn't work

  • The OTP does not arrive. Check the number has no spaces and no country code typed twice. Wait a full minute before requesting another.
  • Your bank details are rejected. The account name has to match the name on your PAN. A joint account in a different primary name will fail.
