What does Cakesify charge me?
No monthly fee and no annual subscription. You pay on orders, and only on orders.
| Deduction | Rate |
|---|---|
| Cakesify commission, every order | 10% |
| GST on the commission | 18% |
| Payment gateway fee | depends on how the customer paid |
| GST on the gateway fee | 18% |
| TCS, if you are GST registered | 0.5% of the product value |
| TCS, if you sell under ECO enrolment | none |
One rate, every order
The commission is the same whether the customer came through your own store link or found you on the Cakesify Marketplace. No penalty for being discovered through us, no discount for bringing your own customer.
Our commission is a separate service
Cakesify's commission is a service we supply to you, so GST at 18% applies on it and we raise our own GST invoice to you for it. That invoice is separate from the invoice you issue to your customer for the food.
If you are GST registered, ask your accountant about claiming input credit on the GST portion of our commission. That is what our invoice is for.
TCS is not a charge
TCS is not money Cakesify keeps. If you are GST registered, we deposit 0.5% of the product value with the government and it is credited to your GST electronic cash ledger, where it offsets what you owe. It reduces your payout for that order, not your earnings for the year.
What else you pay
A one-time registration fee when you are selected, before you create your store. No listing fee, no per product fee, no charge for your store link.
