How do reviews work?
Customers can review products or orders they have actually purchased. You can see your reviews from your dashboard, and where the feature is available, respond to them.
What to do with a good one
Not much, beyond noticing what people single out. If three customers mention that your packaging arrived perfectly, that is information: it is a thing you do well and could say in your listings.
What to do with a bad one
Read it properly before reacting. Most negative reviews contain one specific fixable thing, buried in a sentence of frustration.
If you can reply, reply once, briefly, and without arguing. Acknowledge the problem and say what you have changed. People reading reviews later are judging how you handled it far more than they are judging the original complaint.
If a review is unfair
Reviews that look fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated to an actual order can be reported to support@cakesify.com for review.
A review that is simply negative but honest is not unfair, even when it stings.
The longer view
A store with twenty reviews averaging four stars is more convincing than one with three reviews averaging five. Volume and honesty read as real. A perfect record reads as new.
