Cakesify Seller help

How do I get my products on the Cakesify Marketplace?

The marketplace is curated rather than automatic. Three things get you in.

A real catalogue. Enough live products that a customer landing on your store has a genuine choice. Around ten is a comfortable place to be.

Valid FSSAI. Registration or licence, current and verified on your store.

A quality pass. We look at the listings: are the photos clear, are the descriptions accurate, are allergens declared, do the prices and sizes make sense.

Why there is a gate at all

Because the marketplace is only worth being on if customers trust what is on it. One seller with blurry photos and missing allergen information makes every other seller on the page look less credible.

The gate is what makes being inside it valuable.

What it changes for you

Your products become visible to people searching for what you make in your city, including people who have never heard of your store. On the fee side nothing changes: the commission is the same 10% whichever route the customer took.

Beyond the marketplace

The marketplace is one channel. Instagram, WhatsApp, Google and ONDC are others.

Working towards it

If you are not there yet, the path is the same work that makes your own store better: more products, better photos, honest and complete listings. See What makes a good product listing?.
